Why does a photographer need to have a camera harness?
Camera harness distributes the weight of the equipment evenly on the shoulders and back of the photographer, and removes the load from the wrists and neck. At the same time, cameras are always at hand and you can quickly change them without having to carry a bag with everything you need. It saves time and effort.
It is enough to have a single shooting with camera harness, and you will not believe that you were working without it before.
Do you give guarantees for your products? What if the harness breaks, the carbine flies off?
For all the time we have not had a single case of return of the camera harness due to breakage. However, if this suddenly happens – the skin will burst or the carbine will break without external intervention – then, of course, we will replace the parts for free or exchange the harness with a new one.
Sometimes, after a year or two, clients wrote to us that they had lost a screw or spare carbine. Regardless of when the harness was bought, we send the necessary details, because we appreciate your trust in Desired Leather.
Is camera harness a men’s accessory?
No, this is unisex. To emphasize individuality, you can choose a comfortable width of the belts or skin color.
Does the harness support the weight of expensive equipment?
Yes. We make harnesses from genuine leather of the highest quality – thick (4 mm), full grain top. And also from strong slings that can be used instead of ropes and cables. Our hardware is made of stainless steel, it is durable and indestructible. Plus, besides of the main carabiners there are additional safety straps for the camera, do not forget to attach them too!
Is it possible to carry the harness over a jacket, coat?
Yes. The length of the belts is adjustable, which allows you to carry camera harness over bulk clothing. As an option, you can wear it under jackets, for most it is more comfortable.
Camera harness is needed only for wedding photographers?
No, not only. You will appreciate them if you are filming reports, sporting events, photo shoots, children’s parties… In all these cases, the back, shoulders, hands and neck will say “thank you” to the harness.
If I always use only one camera, can I do the harness with single mount?
Yes of course. Such harness will also perfectly relieve tension from the back and shoulders. An example of a product is here.
Camera harnesses are dyed by hand, they do not leave stains on clothes?
The dyed leather does not leave marks on the clothes, because we dye only the outer side, and do not touch the inner side. We apply the wax onto the top layer, which “seals” the paint. Thanks to this, the leather takes on a glossy appearance and serves much longer.
It seems to me that I’m yet not a pro enough for my own camera harness. Do I really need it?
Camera harness is not only an element of the image. First of all, it makes the shooting process easier.
However, it is possible that the product will help to attract new clients. Often the photographers who ordered our harness are asked business cards during the shooting. So, the status of a pro is just around the corner with such an accessory 🙂
What if I place an order and I don’t like the camera harness?
You can return the harness within 14 days if there are no signs of use or damage on it.

Leather harness belts look stiff. Are they comfortable to use?
Yes, the harness is very comfortable, because genuine leather – over time, adapts to the shape of your body, becomes soft and you stop feeling it. At the same time, the belts are wide enough not to squeeze into the shoulders.
How to care for leather harness?
Camera harness will last for many years if you regularly “feed” it – at least 1-2 times a month. To do this, you can use sprays, waxes or creams for the care of leather shoes. More details in this article.
How to choose your size for camera straps?
Those straps are adjustable, and in addition we’ve added sizes for those, who are smaller or bigger than regular.
S – It is about 165cm ( 5″5′ ) height or less, and 70kg ( 160lbs )or less.
M – It is 165 – 185cm ( 5″5′ – 6″1′ ) height, and 70 – 95kg ( 160 – 210lbs).
XL – It is 185cm ( 6″1′ ) height and more, and 95kg ( 210lbs ) and more.

How can I pay?
The order is paid online on the site at checkout. Payment options: credit card or PayPal.
How can I send you my logo?
When you proceed to checkout your order, there will appear a button – upload file. Then you can upload your logo in jpg or png.

Can the harness be returned or exchanged?
Yes it is. We make an exchange or return of goods within 14 days from the date of delivery. An important condition – the item should be without signs of use and damage, in the same form in which it was sent to you.
When returning or exchanging, the buyer pays for the delivery, money for shipping is not returned.
How can I check the status of an order?
After sending the item, you will receive a track number by which you can track the location of the goods on the website of the delivery service.
